Trusted inspection location

Become a Validator

Operate a verified physical location where marketplace goods can be inspected, tested, authenticated, mediated, and prepared for safe delivery between buyers and sellers across Jamaica.

What a Validator does

A seller brings the item to your approved location. You inspect its physical condition, test whether it works, check serial numbers or authenticity where practical, photograph relevant details, and send a clear independent report to the buyer.

How a transaction can work

For example, a seller in Kingston brings a phone to the Validator while the buyer is in St. James. The Validator checks the phone, reports its condition to the buyer, and confirms whether it matches the listing. The buyer can then continue, renegotiate, or decline.

Payment mediation

Depending on the transaction arrangement, the buyer may pay the seller directly after receiving the Validator report, or funds may be routed through an approved protected process before the item is released. A Validator may also collect an agreed inspection, mediation, handling, or shipping fee.

Shipping and handoff

After approval and payment confirmation, the Validator can package the item, record the handoff, and ship it to the buyer or release it to an approved courier. The Validator keeps a clear record of the inspection, payment status, and transfer.
